Info: Yet another picture from my high school days. I included it for several reasons. For one this probably marked the first time I did a self portrait correctly (meaning it resembled me in some way), and it was the first time I messed around with oil pastels. I like everything about this design from back then. The angle as well as the lack of color on my person is intentional as well. Some people thought I ran out of oil pastels halfway :) There are mistakes that I notice now, but for a rookie effort I can overlook them. I remember that I surprised myself with this piece, and it only helped further my interest in becoming better as an artist.
