Request Art/Commissions
Like I mentioned earlier, my schedule is pretty demanding at this point, but I feel that in order to grow as an artist one has to open themselves up to other types of work and projects. Commissions and request art are two great ways to do that. I've done commissions in the past so feel free to contact me (and make a great offer:). Request art is usually free so it's harder to dedicate myself to a project which is really time consuming without monetary compensation, but that's only when I'm feeling the crunch in between school and work. I'm always trying new ideas which can broaden my artistic horizons so give me a chance, and I'll try my hardest with whatever I'm presented.
Materials
I'm not a picky guy, but my favorite medium to work in is any brand of vellum paper with a complete set of Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils. I also enjoy messing around with Photoshop a lot as you've probably noticed already. Besides that anything flies. As a digital artist I also use a lot of programs like 3d studio max, After Effects, etc. In the end it's the artist that makes the work not the materials, although every aspiring artist should try to sample a wide variety of materials to see what works for them and what doesn't. The only other piece of equipment I own that I think is absolutely essential has to be my Wacom drawing tablet. There's no other tablet like it for the computer, and if you're a student you can get a great deal online at the academic superstore like I did. You can check my links for the site. Trust me when I say there's a world of difference between painting with a mouse and a tablet.
Art Usage
As an artist I work hard on the stuff I do, and I wouldn't want it used improperly without my consent. It's all right if you download the pictures for personal use like a wallpaper or whatnot as long as you're not claiming the art as your own or using it to make money. The same applies to all other aspects of the site. If there's something you want to use for a project or presentation then I would appreciate it if you would e-mail me first for permission.
School
I don't mind answering any questions regarding information about my school. If you are interested in attending or just have a few simple questions about art school in general don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help!
Tutorials
Generally speaking, I don't do tutorials only because they are time consuming to complete. With that said, I do however make exceptions every now and again if the same inquiry arises time after time. If you have any questions regarding a particular graphics or rendering program or a way I did something feel free to ask me. I'd be more than happy to try and help if I can.
Thanks for perusing my website! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions feel free to contact me or check out the guestbook.
My schedule can get hectic, but I'll try my best to respond ASAP as I welcome any input you may have for me.
