Info: This was the second character study for my scene design class. Being the protagonist I decided to give Gilon a costume which would contrast strongly with the villain's. Since Vragar had a lot of dark purples and bright reds I thought a light blue outfit with some browns would suit his nemesis best. This is a character which I created about eight years ago or so. I used to draw a comic book in my spare time which revolved around him and his adventures when I was a kid. Safe to say I had to update his look for this project since way back when he looked like Conan the barbarian rampaging all throughout the countryside. The new outfit seems to work, and I'm also pleased that I toned down his stature and made him a lot more realistic. In his first incarnation he was probably over seven feet tall with arms that were bigger than his legs.
